The Sculpture Show

Established and emerging sculptors are invited to exhibit their work in various gardens in the Cotswolds, Cheshire and Kent.

The exhibitions take place between April and September 2007, with each exhibition lasting two weeks.

Artists & Makers Emporium

13th 15th April 2007 [Cardiff, Wales]

New and graduate artists are invited to exhibit and sell their artworks at a national selling fair in Cardiff City Hall. Artists working in all mediums are welcome, including paintings, textiles, ceramics, glass, photography etc.

Celeste Art Prize

May 2007 [London]

This prize aims to promote painting within the UK in its widest sense. All short listed artists will be selected by the Curatorial Programme at Goldsmiths College [London] and will be featured in 200 page exhibition catalogue.

There are three prizes up for grabs:

  • Best Artist - £10,000
  • Best Student Artist - £5,000
  • Best Artists [Online Vote] - £2,000

Cravens Art Prize

This prize is open to all artists working in the North East of England, including painters, photographers, filmmakers etc.

Death Row Texas

7th October 2007 [London]

This multi-media show is being proposed by an artist who has a friend on 'death row' in the USA. The date of the exhibition coincides with that of the inmate's execution.

Contributing artists are expected to offer a creative response to the issues surrounding the death penalty, and artists will exhibit their work alongside works produced by inmates who are currently on death row.

World Is Ours?

20th March – 29th April 2007 [Southampton, UK]

This exhibition is open to all artists and most disciplines are considered, including sculpture, installation, painting, drawing, film, animation, live art etc.

The exhibition aims to deal with the theme of what it means to be human in the world today.

To apply, you will need to send a CV, proposal statement (500 words max) detailing the work to be submitted, images on CD, DVD or high quality prints [no slides] to the following address:
